What We Do
The Pacific Northwest Alumni of Foster Care (PNAFC) was created to give youth and alumni of foster care a collective voice to create a greater awareness of foster care issues to positively influence judges, lawyers, legislators and others who help determine a child’s future. PNAFC believes that effective improvement plans for the child welfare system cannot be developed without considering the experiences and perceptions of those in and from foster care.
Promote Foster Care Concerns PNAFC advocates for those in and from foster care to promote their concerns related to foster care at a community, state and national level.
Provide Opportunities to Communicate PNAFC provides opportunities for those with foster care experiences to communicate with each other.
